I did my first vigil last Friday night with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was a great experience since I was able to read on the podium of the church several times. The youth of Roxas District also talked about their experiences which were related to the readings. I found the readings a bit wordy though to the point that I could not quite comprehend them anymore. We ended up around 1AM but the oldies were very thoughtful and gave us two delicious sandwiches and coffee to perk us up. The church people of Roxas are so thoughtful that way.
