My Pick for the 2019 Men's French Open Title (#3): Stefano Tsitsipas

In a battle between the old and the new blood, Stefano Tsitsipas of Greece barely makes it as my pick to get the semifinal slot in his side of the draw in this year's French Open.

His opponent is the venerable Roger Federer who makes a return to clay this year after a four year absence. It's just that, in their last meeting, Stefano won over Roger, so he is clearly the more favored one if they meet again, especially that this surface is not Roger's favorite.

Tsitsipas doesn't have an easy road though as he may also meet another Swiss in the QF and that guy is an actual former champion here, Stan Wawrinka, which should be a cracker of a match.

Other potential opponents include Filip Krajinovic and Carballes Baena, who can both be tricky players on clay. So Tsitsipas' path is still filled with landmines.

If he does get to the SFs, he might meet Rafael Nadal and possibly Novak Djokovic in the finals,

He has the toughest draw because he has to defeat the Big 3 in each succeeding round. Now that is a VERY big ask!
